I thought this would be an appropriate place to post:
As I am sitting here, procrastinating writing my intake report, I started listening to some music on i-Tunes and just kept reminiscing about Jump, Little Children. At first, it made me happy, until I heard "Cathedrals." I would get tired of that song so easily , much like others who went to a lot of shows, but, at the last show, Judith remarked, "This is the last Cathedrals," and it made me CRY. To this day, that song just makes me uber-sad.

Well, the last month or so has been really interesting. This includes several fights with the boyfriend. I think things are ok in that realm right now, though. (GOOOD!) Also, school has been INSANE. This past week hasn't been horrible, but the week before was probably one of the most stressful weeks of my life.
This week is going to be pretty bad, too. I actually have to get to work on one paper so I have enough time for another one..
By the way, guys, if any of you thought the Rorschach (inkblot) test was cool, IT'S NOT. Oh, and does anyone ever use it anymore? My prof wants to make us thinks so but I have been under the impression, for several years, that no one actually uses it anymore. Whatever. I'm sure it's impressive that I am learning to do it now, since it's just a PAIN IN THE ASS. |

I guess I post once a month now-a-days.
Umm.. Things going well with Matt.
This is the first week of summer classes. So far things are going well.
I have a job. Not very many hours or very much money, but really good experience in my field!
Fires are consuming my county. Some of which are pretty close to me, although not close enough to bring much smoke into the area. I have no worries of my apartment catching on fire as of right now. It's just really dry and the fires spread pretty easily. They think the closest ones to me were arson. One guy was arrested, but there may be more. I'm sure some of you have heard about this on the national news. It's crazy. And really close to me. I wish it would rain! There is only a slight chance of rain tomorrow and Saturday. Blah!
I wonder if I should get rid of my LJ, but I do read my friend's list pretty much everyday. I just don't think I have enough to say to write my own, I guess. Not that I'm not busy. I am.
Last week I had a one week break between the spring and summer semesters. My mom and stepdad were here. We went to Disney's Animal Kingdom, Cocoa Beach, Miami, and to lots of malls, shopping centers, a winery, and to trivia. I was quite exhausted after that.
Well, that's about it. Is anyone reading this?? |

I was just reading a post I had written around this time 3 years ago. Wow. Damn. It was a rocking weekend then. I miss all the rock.
That's all I really wanted to say.
Will Hoge was in Orlando this past Saturday, but I opted to go to a classmate's birthday party instead.

I'm currently in Alabama, finishing up my spring break. I've been kind of sickly, but I'm feeling better now.
A lot of stuff going on since I last wrote in this thing. I actually have a boyfriend now. Hah. His name is Matt. That's going well. :)
School is OK. I have this really hard class in biological psychology that's really kicking my ass right now. Other than that, things are going well.
How I spent my spring break:
1. Blowing my nose
2. Coughing
3. Sneezing
4. Eating (a LOT)
5. Not sleeping in (ugh)
6. Studying for a stupid test
7. Worrying about a stupid test
8. Taking a stupid test (online)
9. Playing computer games.
10. Petting dogs (and cats)
11. Throwing up.
12. Waiting for and watching snow
13. Bundling up
14. Not doing my objective personality assessment assignment
15. Not doing research for my objective personality assessment paper

The semester is over! I've survived my first semester here at the doctoral program at FIT. Woohoo!! I'm so proud of myself! :)
I'll be going home to Alabama in a week for Christmas.
Oh, and I think I'm totally smitten right now... Let's hope it doesn't get me into trouble! |

Hm, I was watching Dr. G: Medical Examiner on Discovery Health with my aunt. This is a show about a person who does autopsies and it pretty much tells the stories of how some people who come to her morgue die. When going through this story on this one girl, they were showing pictures of her and I saw a pic of her holding a mic right next to Johnny, of Jump!
Later, someone mentioned on the show that friends from Charleston came to her funeral. I also looked at some pics of Cumberlands in Charleston, and it seems that the same blue tapestry is up behind the stage in both pics. I guess this girl was at Metal Monday before. It was just really weird to see Johnny in that pic.....

I actually liked him, but, apparently, "we're too alike." What a load of shit.
Guess what. Since I've moved here, Since mid August (Actually, probably since early September.. So like 1 month and a half to 2 months) I've met/went on dates with FIVE guys. FOUR of those guys stopped talking to me after the first day. And he acted like he wanted to see me a lot and then made out with me before decided this.
And I really liked him. *I* thought we had chemistry.

It really sucks when you're the only sober person around a bunch of drunk and/or outgoing people.
And something [Unknown LJ tag] said reminded me that I believe today (or some day around today) is my 11-year Jumpaversary. And it's been a hard day. (As far as classes go).
I did get invited out with classmates. But, I drove, so I didn't drink (well, I had one) and then the more people came, the drunker everyone got, the quieter I got. They went to another bar after that, but I didn't really want to stay out too late tonight, anyway, since I have a buttload of stuff to do this weekend. |
